ask-omalley asked: I'm sorry you're going to have to speak up.
Em… I think Maine is… away at the moment. So you’ll have to do without him.

Em… I think Maine is… away at the moment. So you’ll have to do without him.
ask-omalley asked: Mmm, sounds like a good time. Maybe I can find Agent Maine.
… /quietly/ you’d better not.
ask-omalley asked: Oh? I can't be curious?
You can be, but it’s usually curious about how fast you can drain a body of blood or exactly what someone’s internal organs look like while you’re holding them in your hand…
ask-omalley asked: Just curious.
Oh. That… isn’t… usually like you. /worried again/
ask-omalley asked: What'cha doin'? /smiling/
Um… />.>/ Just writing something. Why?
ask-omalley asked: Siiiiiiiigmaaaa
/uh oh./ … um… yes ‘Mega?
Maine hates talking.
It’s always been incredibly difficult for him to communicate verbally. Some people can’t do math; Maine has the hardest time forcing words out of his mouth. As a child, this was immensely frustrating; he knew what he wanted to get across to people, he knew the answers to their questions, he just couldn’t say it. He was prone to rages as a result of that frustration, and quickly labelled a child with “behavioral problems.”
This is not a story. Or at least, this is not my story. This is the story of a friend of mine who really needs help, and even if I don’t have a very big following, any chance to get the story out is a good one.
This is, in fact, the story of a woman who desperately needs to be Loki’d, like “I totally bought your lunch for you! LOKI’D.”
I know everyone is strapped these days. I’m half-broke every other week between paychecks, so I get it. But sometimes we have a few extra bucks that we can offer to someone in need, and sometimes we don’t have anything we can offer, but we can pass along the information to others.
So I’m here to pass this along and hope that some of you can help, or some of you will pass it along.
There are no ‘perks’ with this fundraiser. But I’ll offer my own right now: If you contribute $50.00 or more, I’ll take the Psalms of Loki and write them out using an ink-dip fountain pen, then bind them into a little book, sign it, and send it to you.
If you contribute $200.00 or more, I’ll write out the entire short story Loki’s Fall and do the same.
Who knows, maybe someday it’ll be worth something? Consider it an investment.
